Ten Ways To Bless Your Pastor's Wife

“But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work.”  I Thessalonians 5:12-13

One of the best ways you can  show appreciation to your Pastor is by loving his wife and children.

Being married to a pastor can be one of the most rewarding and yet one of the most difficult challenges a woman can find herself in. I assure you that your pastor’s wife is painfully aware of the fact that how she relates to  the congregation will have an  impact on her husband’s ministry and you can help her out by understanding her situation a little better.
Having walked that road  as a senior pastor’s wife and now as a lay elder’s wife  I’d like to share a few  pointers as to how you can be a  true blessing to her.
Consider this:   Whether large or small, every congregation is made up of all kinds of people, right?   This means that for as many people as there are in your church there are probably just as many different  expectations regarding the role she  should play.    This can put a lot of pressure on a pastor’s wife  and this is how it can sometimes make her feel:
Granted, the pastor and his wife  probably understood this going in, but we can bless them  as they labor for the Lord on  our  behalf  by trying to make their job a little easier through  understanding  a few things.

1.  First,  by remembering  that God created  the pastor's wife  for the same purpose He created all of us and that is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.”    And as  a wife, God also created her to be her husband’s helper --  just like all  the other  married women in the congregation.   Continue at Theology for Girls
