Gandhi and the Gospel

Gandhi, of course, was a Hindu, his interest in Christianity was purely political, hoping to find support for his pacifism. Before we get into Wednesday Word with Miles, let me say first, that along with this 2 part article, Gandhi and the Gospel, I have provided  at the end of these posts a link to  an apologetics piece called, A Critique of Gandhi on Christianity, for further study. Let’s be crystal clear on Gandhi as a Hindu and his beliefs. Here are just a few of Gandhi’s beliefs…

“God wills the salvation of all people in their respective faiths.” “There is only one God but many paths to him.”  “All the great religions are fundamentally equal.”  “All of us are sons of God.” “All religions are true.”  “I regard all the great religions of the world as true for the one professing them.”  Keep Reading...
