If someone was asked to describe you, or to summarise who you were, they may describe your physical features, they may describe the key expressions of your personality, or they may resort to describing your convictions. If they were to describe you by your convictions, it would likely be as it was evident those convictions drove your daily life and the choices you made. You may be referred to as a person of conviction.If you were to ask a Reformed Christian / Calvinist today what their Christian convictions were (aside from hopefully naming an historic confession of faith), it would not be unusual to hear the response; “I’m convinced of the five solas of the Protestant Reformation.” These “five solas” would transform their life, their view of God, the gospel and the Word of God.
